Due to the complications of a long illness the Director of the festival will not be able to be in London this week. That fact that these events should coincide with the run up the LIDF is a sad occurrence that could not be avoided. It has impacted upon the preparations and finally the execution of the festival. It has been decided, therefore, that it is better for all concerned to postpone the festival. In this way a festival worthy of your work can be guaranteed. This is a postponement and not a cancellation.
Our sincere apologies to all, or any of you, that this affects in a material way and for any inconvenience caused. We very much hope you understand.
